Do you ever feel like you’re unqualified to serve God?
I do. Many times.
There are a million reasons & excuses I could give for why I can’t serve Him.
The bottom line is, when I’m hesitant to do something for God, it is because I’m really trusting that I know how to use the abilities, skills or talent He has given me, better than He does. The truth is, God can do much more with the gifts He has given us then we can do on our own strength.
We must remember that God does not look for qualified people to serve Him but those who are willing. He is looking for those who are willing to let Him shine through them.
So, if God is calling you to do something for Him, trust & rely upon Him because when He calls you to do something for Him, He will enable you to do it through Him.
“For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” ~ I Corinthians 1:26-29 NKJV
